(Toronto, ON) Today, the Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario (IBAO) is recognizing top performing brokers and brokerages by announcing its 2016 Awards of Excellence finalists. Winners will be revealed at the Awards of Excellence Gala Wednesday, October 19^th at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel during the 96^th Annual IBAO Convention. Every year the IBAO hosts this awards evening to highlight the achievements and initiatives of the association’s most outstanding members.

“Our Awards of Excellence Gala is one of our most exciting events at Convention,” said IBAO CEO, Colin Simpson. “It’s a time where Ontario brokers come together to honour and recognize those who have given back to their communities and to the industry. This year in particular, we have much to celebrate.”

Finalists were evaluated by an independent panel that understands what matters to consumers and recognizes best-in-class practices. This year’s panel included insurance company representatives, an outside vendor and a consumer.
