Customer Service for the Insurance Professional

As a customer service representative, your ability to deliver excellent service to clients is critical to your brokerage’s success. In this four-part program you’ll explore all aspects of brokerage operation from a customer service perspective, and focus on job functionality that enhances client engagement and communication. Once the four parts have been completed, participants are awarded a nationally-recognized certificate.

This program is offered through correspondence. There’s no exam for the CSIP designation; you earn your certificate after completing four modules:

1. ROLE OF THE BROKER l Quality Service, Client Expectations, Client Service Roles
2. ADDING VALUE TO YOUR BROKERAGE l Selling, Client Negotiation, PR, Time Management
3. BROKERAGE OPERATION l Automation, Procedure, E&O, Money Handling
4. INDUSTRY ISSUES l Legal, Inadequate Coverage, Industry Organization, Career Development

Correspondence

This format allows you to work at your own pace with the assistance of a mentor (i.e. manager or owner) from your brokerage. At the end of each module, there’s a summary and review of the text including multiple choice and short answer questions. We’ll issue a certificate once we’ve received a letter from your mentor stating that the four modules and all requirements have been completed. Recommended for individuals who prefer guiding their own studies. Contact Robyn for questions – 416.488.7422 x119.
